Fall at the Farmer's Market cannot be beat. From flowers to food, crafts to creativity, our farmer's market has it all! We can't wait to see you there.

Calling all book lovers! The Read Queen Bookstore & Cafe is hosting the Local Author Book Fair, featuring local authors from around Colorado! This is an extra special event that you won't want to miss.

This is the last one of the summer, so come meet the people behind the books, discover a new favorite author, and support local writers. You never know what story you’ll find waiting for you.

Not only is the w**e top tier, the space itself makes you feel like you're swimming in red w**e river. The aesthetic is unmatched. Consider this your sign to make an evening of it.

Meet one of the people who makes Old Town so special: Tsehay, owner of Ras Kassa's.

Ras Kassa’s Ethiopian Food brings something unique to Lafayette, and we’re excited to share a little more about the owner and the story behind the business. Learn about her journey, explore the rich cultural traditions behind Ethiopian cuisine, and then go give it a try for yourself. Be sure to check out our blog to read the full interview and (hopefully) be convinced to visit!

Opened in 1988, Ras Kassa's is family-friendly, allergen/vegan-friendly, open for dinner with takeout options, and an all around great community building experience. You’ll find it right here in Old Town at 802 S Public Road.

Tsehay and the Ras Kassa’s team will also be at City Park in Denver on September 11–12 for the Ethiopian New Year celebrations and festival — a great chance to experience their food and culture beyond Lafayette.

One of the best things about Old Town is all around you.

Take a different route the next time you visit and see what you discover. Colorful murals, unexpected sculptures, creative alleyways, and locally made art are tucked throughout downtown, making every walk a little different from the last.

Pick a direction, wander without a plan, and see what catches your eye.

the.stitch.sitch is hosting four FREE workshops between August 23rd and November 22nd at Festival Plaza on Public Road, sponsored by the Lafayette Downtown Development Authority.

You'll learn how to reinforce knees & elbows, add stitching to collars, and add strength and decoration to your worn clothing. Bring something to repair, and leave with something to be excited about.
