Joey's Cajun Stuff will mark its one year anniversary next weekend. I am reflecting on all of those who had any part in making it happen. Its actually kind of overwhelming. I had a desire to start a business simply as an investment. John Dardeau was the one who lit a fire under me to actually do it. While JCS isn't the first business I had in mind, after looking at various possibilities it was the one that seemed to make the most sense. Justin Blane East was there from the very first day, excited and being an encouragement. Kris Fontenot from Flat Town Music (Floyd's Record Shop) was the first vendor I contacted, and has truly been a blessing to me as I try to make this thing work. If not for some of the other folks at the Lafayette Jockey Lot, I would have probably given up. Rick Broussard, Deborah Stimpson, David Constantine, Tami Constantine, and the management of The Jockey Lot, as well as Donna Meaux and Derek P. Landry from KBON Radio have all been very encouraging. Chad Louis Clark has done so much to promote this business with his connections within the Cajun Music community. So thanks! And of course the loyal customer base and those who just visit the store make it all worthwhile. I am so grateful to all involved. Looking forward to many more years.

Some of our Cajun products are now available at A Flair for Things in Grand Coteau. Don't know the exact address (LOL), but its in a new strip mall along Hwy 93 right past the red light in Grand Coteau.
