A new chapter is beginning at Black Dog Books.

You may notice our cashier and social media guru, Maya Gordon, spending more time on the shop floor this summer. Maya will be training for the Assistant Manager role over the coming months and will officially step into the position in Spring 2027.

Maya is already a customer and staff favorite, known for her creativity, kindness, and love of all things books, art, and community. We are so excited to support her as she grows into this next role and continues bringing her own spark to the store.
