🖐🖐PACHI UPDATE👀👀

Standing at 8.5” he has almost DOUBLED his growth in 5 days!! And had over an inch of growth within 24 hours!! 🤯🤯
Fun fact: in its vegetative state(the state Pachi is currently in) his single leaf that resembles a whole tree, can get up to 15’ tall! 🌴

👀MEET PACHI👋
His whole government name is ‘Amorphaphallus titanum’ , but most people call him Titan or 'Co**se Flower' (his dad is the one who gave him that nickname Pachi, he just sleeps so much!).
Going dormant most of the year, his dad lovingly takes care of this pot of dirt, until at just the right time for Pachi, he wakes up and shows us what all that beauty sleep is needed for. While he doesn't look like much now, once he fully wakes up his growth is explosive! Luckily for us in the greenhouse, Pachi will not be blooming this cycle, but putting out a grand foliage that is still a show stopper. Make sure to follow OR stop in for updates on how quick and and big he gets this time around!

Care Tips:
☀️Grows well in sun or partial shade
💧Drought tolerant, but will require more watering with full sun

Here at Bennett's, we're always looking for ways to bring you the best and freshest plants in the horticulture industry! 🌱

Last Thursday, a group of our greenhouse growers attended Ball Customer Days at The Gardens at Ball Seed Company in Chicago. We explored exciting new plant varieties, compared this year's crops to the trial gardens, and gathered plenty of inspiration for next season.
