Children’s Hospitals, a unique healthcare system that provides critical medical care to children regardless of their families' ability to pay. Specializing in pediatric orthopedics, burn care, spinal cord injury, and cleft lip and palate treatment, Shriners Children’s Hospitals have made life-changing impacts on children and families worldwide. With every event hosted at The Venue, you directly contribute to this remarkable mission. It’s a great feeling to be part of a fraternity that truly cares about our children’s future.

We’re proud to support initiatives like this dyslexia program, where real lives are being changed every day through dedication, compassion, and service. Seeing young people gain confidence, discover a love for reading, and realize their potential is what it’s all about.

Last Friday marked our first Mardi Gras Ball in more than a decade — and what a comeback it was!

The evening was a tremendous success, and Ryan Foret & the Foret Tradition absolutely delivered. What a fantastic band! We hope everyone who attended enjoyed the night as much as we did.

A very special thank you to our Evangeline Shriners who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event possible. Events like this don’t happen without dedicated Nobles stepping up and putting in the effort.

We are also incredibly grateful to Taylors International Services Inc., Guidry’s Catfish, and Tremar Foods for their generous donations of funds and materials to help cover event costs. Your support makes a difference.

Congratulations to our silent auction and split-the-pot winners!

And a huge congratulations to our very own Noble Rush for being named Habibi Shriners Shriner of the Year — a well-deserved honor!

We’re already looking forward to hosting another Mardi Gras Ball next year. Stay tuned… 🎭✨

As we were preparing our recent Voodoo Ball post, we realized we never properly shared just how special our 2026 Evangeline Shriners Officer Installation Night truly was.

What an incredible evening.

We want to thank everyone who joined us — and especially our Shriner’s Patient Ambassador, Anna, for bravely sharing her journey with Shriners Children's Shreveport as she battles scoliosis. Her strength and resilience moved everyone in attendance.

We were also deeply touched by the Spears family, who shared their daughter’s life-saving story with Shriners Children’s Galveston.

When our local Lafayette healthcare system could not save her, Shriners stepped in. The family was transported to Galveston, and within four hours, their daughter was sitting up drinking chocolate milk. In two weeks, she was outpatient.

All at zero cost to the family.

Medical care. Housing. Clothes. Toys. Everything covered.

There were very few dry eyes in the room that night.

Congratulations to our 2026 Nobles elected to office. We proudly welcome our new Noble President, Donny Bush, and look forward to a fruitful and impactful year ahead.

And finally — a heartfelt (and belly-felt!) thank you to Noble Rush for the outstanding gumbo that brought us all together around the table.
