Fantastic koi trip to Fitz’s Fish Pond Koi Fest 2026 & the Tri State ZNA Koi Show. It was our seventh koi show so far. Fitz’s Fish Ponds & the Tri State ZNA really did a fantastic job & so many beautiful koi being shown & up for sale.

Recent koi visit with one of our favorite koi businesses, The Koi Store, in Watkinsville, GA. Vicki Vaughan is the very best & is so knowledgeable about koi & koi health. She & Carl have made frequent trips to buy koi straight from Japanese breeders. I have bought some of my favorite koi from them & koi food as well. The Koi Store has a close relationship with the University of Georgia & their veterinary school which has a renowned department on koi & fish health. She has a great koi food that I purchase from her which is top of the line & available at the show. If you are interested in food, let me know,& I can bring it back with us. Better yet, visit yourself & also get some of the most beautiful Japanese koi available. She even has butterfly koi from Suda Koi Farm, the main Japanese breeder of long fin koi.

Kloubec Koi has a great sale going on of great large koi. I have personally visited their site & been very happy with the health, variety & quality of their koi. If you are interested in high end koi straight from Japan, I recommend PSKoi in Thorntown, IN. You will have to arrange an appointment with Russell Peters in his website. He is often at koi shows especially those in the Midwest.
