Maintenance Monday- Tension is generally present when we are increasing our speed. Many of the factors that occur together with tension result in inaccurate shots due to the way the firearm is handled. There are some similarities between rifle handling and shooting a pistol. The dominant hand should apply less pressure than the non-dominant hand. Elsewhere, improvements can be made in the efficiency of movement since extra movement takes up more time and might not be necessary. It is helpful to practice these drills in dry fire and make them habitual. By doing so, movement can be refined and timed, inducing some stress into the shooting. Movement can be isolated by breaking the drill down into smaller steps and refining movements to find efficiency.

Maintenance Monday- Grip is essential for effective trigger control. Your grip should keep the firearm steady at any trigger speed. Your dominant hand should hold the firearm firmly while your non-dominant hand supports the bulk of the grip. You can improve your grip at home through dry-fire training. Consistent practice improves grip consistency. We also offer classes to help you improve.
We offer classes from basic to concealed carry (CCW). If you are interested in a CCW permit, talk to us. The process is not as difficult as it seems. It is simple but requires steps to do it correctly, and we can help. Our range is open for rifle shooting every day of the week from .223 to .338 LM. All you need is to take our rifle liability class using the QR code, which you can do anytime when you come to the range. #
