HAPPY 24th BIRTHDAY to my incredible daughter, Marley! From the day you were born, you gifted us with so many smiles and laughter. You have one of the best sense of humors I have ever encountered (if you know, you know). You are a people pleaser in the most bestest of ways- always thinking of the other person first- your empathy is unmatched. This photo shows you in your most best light- my adventurous girl- ziplining through the jungles in Bali. Your love of traveling and experiencing all that the world has to offer has affected all of us! Your fortitude in obtaining an EU passport not only changed the course of your life, but all of our lives- cousins, Zeb and me- by including us. We are eternally grateful. And now the world gets to share you wherever you venture. And you venture. A lot. For example you are currently celebrating your birthday in Western Africa! So Happy Birthday my baby girl! I love your adventurous spirit, your laughter, your kindness and I am so incredibly proud of everything you do. You are truly the most beautiful person I know- inside and out. I've had my best days with you.

Aloha everybody,

We want to extend a huge Mahalo to the first responders and people who have helped our community in this terrible time. The events of the Lahaina wildfire are truly devastating, and our beloved community is hurting deeply. The entire Maui community is in our thoughts as we all work through this time, together.

We wanted to also say thank you to those who have reached out asking about the status of Banana Wind and the Lahaina Cannery Mall. At this time we do not have specific information regarding the wellbeing of either. We will continue to update our Banana Wind ohana if and when information becomes available.

At this time, Banana Wind will remain closed. We ask that all who want to help, our mainland friends and Maui friends alike, to please refer to this Maui Now article with information on how you can help mend our community in this time.

Our prayers and thoughts are with Maui and the Lahaina community 💚
