After making pair after countless pair of our own custom Mouse Ears to wear to the parks, we’ve decided to officially open up shop and offer our designs to all the wonderful park hoppers looking for something a little more special than what you’d find in your average park store. SHOP UPDATE:

Spark and Spell will go on a brief vacation from 12am EST Monday, 11/22 - Midnight EST Wednesday, 11/24 in order to prep for our Black Friday Weekend Sale.

All orders placed through Sunday night will ship during this time. While on vacation, we’ll be restocking inventory, including a bunch of our bestsellers, as well as adding dozens of new designs!

The shop will reopen at 12am EST on Thursday, 11/25, with our Black Friday Sale running through Midnight EST Tuesday, 11/30.

Along with special shop-wide discounts and free gifts with purchases $40+, every $10 spent pre-tax will earn you an entry into a giftaway for a $25 shop credit!

The holidays are already expensive, & Disney doesn’t make that easier…but you can still find cheap (even free) activities, if you know where to look 😉

One of our favorite free things to do on property is the gingerbread house crawl! Disney has several INSANELY detailed gingerbread houses (+ a gingerbread carousel😮) located in deluxe resorts, shops, & even the parks (if you’re at Epcot, don’t miss the one inside the American pavilion!)

The best part? You don’t have to spend any extra money to see them, nor do you have to be staying on property!

How to pull off a free day full of Disney magic:

If you’re an AP, park at the TTC & take the monorail over to the resorts on the Magic Kingdom loop. Alternately, make a dining reservation at one of the resorts that has a gingerbread house so you can park at that resort, OR if you’re okay with a little extra travel to cut the cost out completely, park for free at Disney Springs & take one of the buses back to your resort of choice (we do this whenever we stay off property to resort hop, & it’s super easy!)

We like to start at The Grand Floridian, which houses a two-story masterpiece with a shop inside of it (+ a functioning chimney that blows candy smoke!)

Next, take the monorail to MK, switch to the boats, & head over to Wilderness Lodge to check out Humphrey Bear’s rustic gingerbread cottage (+ the enormous Christmas tree decorated with tipis— it’s GORGEOUS)!

Take the boat back to MK, jump on the monorail or another boat, & head over to The Contemporary to see the huge Mary Blair-inspired Cinderella’s Castle gingerbread display. Take your time finding all the Hidden Mickeys (each display has their own set!), then take the bus back to Disney Springs & stop by Amorette’s Patisserie to see their gingerbread replica of the bakery!

There’s an alternate set of gingerbread displays to see at the Epcot-area resorts as well, so make sure you check those out to experience the magic that is a functional carousel made of cookies!🎠

This is also the perfect excuse to try all the amazing holiday foods these resorts have to offer!🤤

One of our favorite things to do on Disney property around the holidays is to search out all the tree displays! Between the parks, resorts, and Springs, there are so many gorgeous creations full of detail, dedicated to just about anything you could imagine:

Interrupting your Halloween feed to inform you Christmas is coming in hot and heavy starting tomorrow (with this fun throwback photo shoot I forced my Mom to do in Hobby Lobby while I was looped on pain meds post-dental work…I’m clearly holiday partial🤷🏻‍♀️)!

Port Orleans French Quarter has officially reopened at WDW, and we are so excited— this is one of our favorite resorts on property! We love taking the boat over from Disney Springs to visit POFQ: the ambiance is a wonderful mix of relaxing and revelry, the theming is top-notch, and a basket of Mickey beignets from S**t Cat’s is the perfect treat on a lazy resort day!

🎉IT’S OUR BIRTHDAY!🎉

Today marks our first anniversary as a small shop, aka the day .ears purchased our first order and kicked off a year full of absolutely insane firsts:

We’re halfway to Christmas!🎄🎁❄️
Things might seem a little quiet over here, but that’s just because I’ve been hard at work on our Halloween and Christmas lines— I have SO MUCH holiday goodness that I can’t wait to share with you all! The plan is to launch all Halloween items in the first two weeks of August so there’s plenty of time to prep for Boo Bash, and then Christmas designs will launch starting Sept 15th (100 days from Christmas)!
