Do Japanese people ACTUALLY bow ? 🙇‍♀️ Short answer: yes. Long answer: YES, and it's basically a secret language. 🤫
One bow can mean "hello," "thank you," "sorry," or "nice to meet you." The deeper the bow, the more respect you're showing.
Fun fact: Many Japanese people even bow while talking on the phone... out of pure habit! 📞🙇‍♀️
