We’re always on the lookout for easy ways to entertain the kids when we’re eating out or waiting in queues at theme parks.

I found this Stitch Dobble game in the Amazon Prime Day sale and couldn’t resist ordering it early as a Christmas present- I do like to help Santa out a bit 😉.

If you’ve not come across Dobble before, it’s a matching game where you turn over a card and spot the two pictures that match. It’s supposed to be competitive, but for now we play individually so there’s no upset when the eldest wins every time!

There’s also a Disney Princess version for my youngest, so I’m pretty sure these will be a big hit.

We wanted to get our youngest away from screens on car journeys and plane trips, but she’s still too young to read, and colouring, writing, or stickers just didn’t really work in the car.

After a bit of research, we found the Yoto Mini, and it’s been brilliant. It’s a bit like the Walkman we had as children, but instead of tapes or CDs, it uses cards.

What I love most is that she can see the pictures on the cards and choose what she wants to play next, and then the tiny screen shows her which song or story is about to start. So she even gets to make that choice too.

There are hundreds of song and story cards to choose from, ranging from nursery rhymes for toddlers to Lord of the Rings for older children. We even found a tooth brushing timer, which is so handy when we’re away from home.

It also works with headphones, so it doesn’t disturb other people, but it can also be used like a mini speaker for dancing around the bedroom or hotel room.

I never thought my son would be the envy of his classmates over sunscreen… but apparently he is.

One of the best purchases we’ve made for Disney trips and day outings has been a Solar Buddy. If you haven’t seen one before, it’s a refillable roll-on sunscreen applicator with a built-in sponge, so you can apply sun cream easily without getting your hands covered.

You simply fill it with your own sun cream so you can use one that suits your skin best.

We bought our first one a couple of years ago, and now we have four. One for each of the kids’ school bags, one for my day bag when we’re out and about and one to keep at home for the morning routine.

3 hours from order to dispatch! 🚀

Yesterday I had a message from a customer who needed a birthday board urgently for this weekend. I got straight to work and just 3 hours later it was in the courier’s hands! 📦✨

They’ve chosen expedited delivery, so it should arrive within 1 day – everything crossed that the courier delivers in time! 🤞

I always do my best to help when I can, especially for those last-minute celebrations! 🎉💛

We’ve found Apple AirTags so useful on our Disney trips.

We often do split stays, and on our last trip we had Disney transfer our luggage between Riviera Resort and Bay Lake Tower. We checked into our room and called down for our bags, only to be told they hadn’t arrived yet- which is totally normal as they usually say to allow until 5pm. But because we’d put AirTags in our suitcases, we could check the app and see exactly where they were.
It was actually quite funny watching them travel from Caribbean Beach, to Pop Century, to Art of Animation, to the All Stars, Old Key West and a few other places before eventually making their way to our hotel. They definitely saw more of Disney than we did on that trip! 🙈

We’ve also used them on flights. Our first flight home was delayed, which meant we were going to miss our connection. American Airlines were brilliant at transferring us to a different flight, but we still couldn’t stop worrying that our bags- which we’d dropped off two hours earlier- might not make it across in time. It was such a relief when we could see them at the transfer airport and then again back at Heathrow. And even if they had ended up somewhere else, at least we’d have known where they were!

While our luggage was safely stored in our rooms, we also attached them to bracelets for the children to wear around the parks, which gave us extra peace of mind in case anyone wandered off.

They’re in the Prime Day sale at the moment with some money off, so if you’ve been thinking about getting some, now seems like a good time.
