Happy all the time🎅🎄⭐🎁
Tomorrow starts musical #3 for the summer because I took leave of my senses in January. 3 of 5. Please send help, I am not ok😂
While setting lights for Elf (p.s. come see it, it's free!), there was a storm. I generally pay no attention to the weather because it just causes anxiety and there is nothing you can do to stop it. 🤷 My little corner of tiny town was especially flattened. Power was out for over 48 hours for me (others are still out!) and thankfully the worst damage at my house was just a tree flattening a fence and landing on a power line. I wish I could say that it was a magical coming together of community (and yes, there was some of this for sure, and I am grateful for the emergency services, line crews, and restaurants that immediately jumped in to make things happen quickly), but as people are sometimes, truly the worst, there was also a lot of selfishness and ignorant comments. To those who checked in, thank you. I am grateful for friends who care and pay attention. If nothing else....it's a reminder to be kind always, and to check on people who go quiet.
If you read the rambling this far....I am also grateful my hobbies don't involve technology or electricity. Maybe I should have been born in the 1800s? I crocheted by literal candlelight to keep from being alone with my thoughts (*shudder*). Here are some happy elf and Santa ornaments
