We were in store during the storm. It was intense. Very scary. Large tree limbs came down all over us and onto Main Street. We are ok. Clean up will take some time. Of course we are thinking about the children who lost their lives and offering our condolences to their families. May their memory be a blessing to them going forward.
💙 Downtown Is Open & Ready to Welcome You 💙
While our community continues to recover from yesterday's storms, Downtown Lake Geneva remains open for business. Our shops, restaurants, attractions, and service providers are here and ready to serve you.
For residents and visitors who are still without power, several downtown businesses have generously opened their doors as cooling and rest areas where you can charge your phone, enjoy a snack or meal, access Wi-Fi, and take a break from the heat.
📍 **Cooling & Rest Locations:**
• Immanuel Lutheran Church
• The Cove of Lake Geneva
• The Bottle Shop - Lake Geneva
We encourage everyone to support our local businesses while also taking advantage of these resources if needed.
Thank you to the businesses, first responders, utility crews, volunteers, and neighbors who are stepping up to help one another. This community is at its best when we come together, and we are proud to be part of that effort.
Please continue to stay safe, check on your neighbors, and watch for updates as recovery efforts continue.
