Just a sampling, in addition to knitting yarn we have: knitting needles, crochet hooks, knitting and crochet notions, embroidery floss, books, magazines, weaving looms, spinning wheels, spinning fiber, spinning and weaving tools, weaving yarn, yarn for family knitting (washable, kids, afghans) and lots more. Visit our Second Chance Nook where we sell used yarn and equipment.

Walls lined with colorful wool, traditional Norwegian yarns, spinning fiber, and weaving equipment have made this longtime Michigan shop a destination for fiber artists throughout the Midwest. Heritage Spinning & Weaving in downtown Lake Orion specializes in knitting, crochet, weaving, spinning, and rug hooking supplies while also hosting an extensive schedule of classes, workshops, and social crafting events throughout the year.

Visitors can browse specialty yarns sourced from Shetland and Norway alongside looms, spinning wheels, books, and rare fiber arts materials that are difficult to find elsewhere. The welcoming atmosphere and strong crafting community continue making the shop one of Michigan’s most respected fiber arts destinations.

We had an absolute blast yesterday. Just as we were finishing taping/filming/videoing for our Socials, Jolie from WXYZ (Detroit local channel 7) called. She was looking for a shop that could help her do a feature on younger folks enjoying "granny crafts." She arrived within an hour. I honestly don't know how she will boil down 3 hours of work into a 2 minute story, but it will be fun to see what she ends up with. It will air twice on Tuesday, July 28 at 6:45 AM and 4:45 PM.
