Hello everyone! Hello Saturday! The laundry room was completed yesterday. All the old border is down, walls were cleaned, trimmed out and the walls are painted. I was determined to only have to wash paint trays, etc. once! I’m on the hunt for what to place behind my washer/dryer wall and we will call this room done! I already have two upper cabinets w/countertop and lower cabinets to the left of the washer/dryer….do not need more cabinetry. I store cleaning supplies in lower cabinets and pet food in uppers. But, I know I will find the perfect something. Enjoy the weekend!

From plain white walls (border removed) to Accessible Beige by SW. Our white paneled doors pop now as does the cabinets and trim in this laundry room.

Y’all know I have single handedly painted just about every room in our home. Both bathrooms, both bedrooms and a large living-room/dining room. Foundation outside and walls in basement. So, now for the laundry room! It was bright white with a big ol’ border that well….just wasn’t me. So….here I am in a hot mess of a room. Border is down! 🙌. Now, I have to scrub the walls and get to painting! Yep….I’m always painting something STILL! Oh, and if you all think your home is clean. Just get on a ladder and look at the top of your cabinets….and ceiling fans😳

Those coffee cup expandable racks have so many uses! I had some smaller scale Longaberger baskets. 🧺 So, In added them to this, a small Fall garland, a candle or two and some small hand made chicken doilies a friend gave me. A little something something against my lower kitchen headboard paneling…..

My $19.99 half-off sale thrifted & tufted High Point, NC chair. It comes from the world’s largest furniture market. Some of you had questions about it. High Point makes high quality furniture with solid wood construction intended to stand the test of time. No tears or rips. No odors. I deep cleaned it by vacuuming it well, scrubbed with shampoo carpet spray and finished with a light spray of white vinegar and water. The vinegar removes smells and dissipates….you are left with a very clean chair. I wanted a smaller scale chair in our entry living-room. This certainly fit the bill for our home. Definitely a bargain purchase and that, my friends, is how I roll……

Y’all!!! If you are near my neck of the woods in Illinois….Salvation Army in Litchfield had some cool things today! From vintage to “oh what I could do with this if I still had this dang gum shop!”

Little by little….in every town….you stumble upon yard sales, flea markets, thrift stores and resale shops….and you eventually find some of the cutest treasures! You just have to go often. Look high and low. It’s about having fun and maybe finding a cute treasure or two to come home with you🔖👻
