Following Jesus is FUN and exciting. Not boring. And what does Jesus say?... "to have childlike faith." Don't have to tell us twice!!

Team work makes the DREAM WERK!! 🪨We created the ugliest Goliath and then we defeated him...David style. This was so much fun and we had way too many laughs! The goal was to make him ugly because sin is exactly that. Ugly. Satan works hard to make sin look attractive, exciting and harmless, but God sees it for what it is: destructive, deceptive and ugly. David did not admire Goliath–he recognized him as something that stood in opposition to God. When we begin to see sin the way God sees it, we stop making excuses for it and start rejecting it.

Breakout session and worship were SO fruitful!! I wish I could have sat at every table and swayed to the songs with each of you! The Holy Spirit really bobbed and weaved through this room. Being vulnerable and participating in the conversation can be scary but gosh does it leave an imprint on your soul when all is said and done. So very proud of you all! The friendships made! And that worshippppp whewyyyyyy. Dry eyes were hard to find. 🥹

Let the games beginnnnnn!! Gosh the laughs from this afternoon will forever live rent free in my head. Thank you all for pivoting due to the hot weather and still having fun INDOORS with us. I miss you all already!
