I went out of my comfort zone and knowledge of expertise, when given the opportunity to provide flowers for a bride and grooms personal traditional Indian ceremonies.
I researched and found where to get pre-strung marigold garland from India, instead of stringing it myself, which saved a lot of time!! I ordered fresh jasmine for the brides hair and made 2 Mala’s for them to wear during their ceremony. It was a lot of work but beautiful!

All of the flowers for the brides personal ceremony were purchased from local flower farmers of SnoCo. Flower Collective

I was invited to collaborate on this beautiful experience with SEATTLE WEDDING DECOR & DESIGN. Shubh and her husband hand crafted the triangles for the grooms ceremony. I had early morning call times 3 mornings in a row, at 7 and 6am in Seattle to set up for these ceremonies.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to work with SEATTLE WEDDING DECOR & DESIGN and her team!

This collaboration and new friendship was formed meeting through the Seattle Women’s Network

🌸You want to hear a story of my flower inspiration?!
In 2020, 6 years ago we stumbled upon a flower shed out on some backroads in Arlington! I was so happy it was the cutest thing I had ever seen!
This first photo is of me visiting Zhanna Andreyanov, taking my parents out to see this joyful new find, during COVID! (See my mask?)
I couldn’t decide which Dahlias I wanted, so I bought them all!
I started following Zhanna and swooning over all her flower posts!
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine one day I’d be texting her directly, shopping from her cooler and routinely ordering flowers from her!!

Zhanna has beautiful fresh flowers and bouquets for you to pick up from her flower shed! Zhanna Andreyanov You don’t know this yet, but YOU were one of the first flower farmers to inspire me!
I took my love of flowers to a new level and found a way to be around them all the time!!

I now have many more local flower farmers who inspire me! Who bring me joy by sharing their beautiful flowers with me!

Tonight’s class at Rustic Cork, “Dahlias Are a Girls Best Friend” featured Dahlias grown directly from Zhanna’s farm! Clean, fresh, and local!
I wouldn’t have it any other way!!

I recently had the pleasure of being the Day Of Coordinator for my friend this past weekend!
Savannah was a complete DIY bride 🌸and her planning was impeccable!

Being a DIY Floral consultant I helped direct her in the right place for peonies!! She also mentioned needing help on the day of! Day of Coordination is something else I LOVE to do! I help run the event and timeline— and it’s my favorite role at a wedding because I get to be close to the couple all night! 😄

Savannah impressed me with the way she created an LBGTQ+ inclusive, welcoming environment for her friends and family. You could see who Savannah is in all the details of the day. The big heart she has. She found a partner who loves the same way and I’m so happy to have witnessed it!

What can I say! I just LOVE weddings!!! Thank you Savannah Slone and Lucas for allowing me to be part of your special day, and trusting in me with the role!! 🤍🌈
She loved all her vendors and I’m happy to recommend them all as well!!
