According to the persimmons, North Carolina will be shoveling snow this year!
I see spoons in every seed I crack open ❄️

Every year when the American persimmons drop, I cut the seeds open to see what's inside.
This is an old Appalachian way to predict the winter weather.
I have very fond memories as a child doing this every year with my grandparents.
Spoons indicate you'll be shoveling snow.
Forks indicate a mild winter to grow crops.
Knives indicate bitter cold and cutting winds.

Last year the persimmons had spoons and we had record snow in my area.

Come see us! And admire these walls, ceilings and floors. Chris Evans is out of the flooring business but he definitely made it happened. A promise him and Michael Stanley made yrs ago! I am grateful 🥲 Joseph worked his ass off on this place. Years of paint on top of paint, crappy patch jobs etc. He brought it back. Grahams Painting is top notch!!

Come see us tomorrow. A new little place to call our own so we can expand and offer more to Lake Waccamaw. We will have cob corn in a day or two and we are working on the set up for feed. My plan is to carry at least 3 popular brands to start, let me know what you like. Fresh coffee every morning so come sit a spell! Today my shout out is to Buddy Garvin!!! If you need security cameras, alarms etc. this is your guy. This man has put in countless hours to make sure my investment is secure. He has talked me through some almost crash outs, seen me lose my mind because i heard hey Nana 42 million times in an hour, he worked around climbing boys and the tornado of a mess we have had. I will forever be grateful for all the work and more for being a great friend to my little family!!!
