There’s something ridiculously satisfying about watching all those little steps turn into a beautiful bar of soap. This part is definitely not the glamorous part of soapmaking… but it’s where the magic starts. 😍

And yes — that’s lye. 👀

This one has been such a fun one to make! 💙🧡

Gator Bait is getting cut today and I’m officially in that “okay, this is actually becoming a real thing” stage. 😂

Freshly made, hand-cut, and now it gets to do its thing while it cures. 🧼✨

I’ll have limited bars available once it’s ready, so if you’ve been waiting for this one… you’re gonna want to keep an eye out. 👀🐊

Okay y’all… this is the part where the soap magic starts happening. 👀🧼

After getting Gator Bait into the mold, I give it a little spritz to help encourage gel phase without overheating the soap — and it also helps prevent that pesky soda ash from forming on top.

Basically… we’re tucking this little guy in and letting chemistry do its thing. 😂

Now we wait. 👀

Who else is weirdly invested in watching this bar become soap? 😂🐊🧼

Okay, realness… 😂

I tried the tea-stained look, and y’all… I hated it. 🤣

So I did what any slightly obsessive maker would do — I put them back to WHITE. 😂🤍

Sometimes the “creative vision” just ain’t visioning. And I’m not going to put something out that I don’t absolutely love.

So… white it is. And honestly? SO much better. 😏

Back to the drawing board, friends. That’s the fun (and occasionally chaotic) part of handmade! 🫶😂

We had such a blast with you guys today, as always! 🥰 There’s something extra special about getting to set up right here in the community we call home and seeing so many familiar faces. 🐘💚

And y’all showed the candles some LOVE today! 🔥 We even ran out of a few, and of course… ya girl forgot to write down which ones. 😂🤦‍♀️ So if you were looking for a scent that we sold out of, message us and let us know what it was! We’ll make sure we’re stocked up next time!
