Although this is a much smaller piece then what I would normally paint, I did have a lot of fun creating it. There is a little story behind this piece though.. I got these two canvas as a gift on Christmas. The thing is once I painted on a larger canvas I never considered painting on a smaller one such as this one. So like many other things that comes with being an artist I had gotten stuck on what to paint. After sketches and ideas that didn't suffice any of my expectations I came up with his face. Now I'm not going to say he is an alien or a skull because I think both would be inaccurate. But I think he is much cuter then either one of them, Although he has a skeleton like body, I absolutely think he is adorable and looks more then overjoyed.

The story behind Crystal's Palette:
I've always loved to attend Art class when I was younger. Something about going to Art class knowing I could make something that would be made only by me and no one else could copy it exactly always made my heart warm. In 2012 I started painting. Simple, little things mostly gifts for my parents or siblings on holidays or their birthdays. Paintings that came out decent but never really how I wanted. After three years of not picking up a brush, I decided to try painting again. The first piece I finished in 2015 was a gift for someone I've held very close to my heart. Many hours were put into this piece and when it was finished I fell in love with how it came out. The piece itself has its own backstory. The feeling I got after finishing it drove me to want to paint more. I stopped painting on little canvas's and started using bigger ones. This page was created to show the world my personal art work. They are all for sale, if anyone would like to take them home or give them as a gift to a loved one. All orders will be made with love and passion.
These last few paintings have taught me many things. Yes all of my paintings are very different, but I don't think I've made one I think is bad. After all Art is Subjective. 😊
