Completed another Full Auto conversion in the past two weeks. Im planning on picking up any AR -15s that I can buy on the cheap and converting them as future investments. I can usually put my 409-500 dollars worth of upgrades into the gun and make a few hundred when it comes time to give up my license down the road. My standard upgrades include Full Auto trigger group, anti-walk Trigger, hammer and Auto sear pins, Nickel Boron Bolt Carrier Group, Geiselle Automatics dual coul buffer spring and H3 buffer, and my favorite Phase 5 Weapons Systems Ambidextrous Bolt Catch/Release. And the frost5on the cake is the Brass Goat Brass Catcher. What a great product, best in class for certain! I will probably put HUXWRX Ventum Suppressor on this guy, but for now I just used my Noveske Fire Pig muzzle device. There's still something awesome about the noise factor of a mag dump at Full rock n roll decibel levels!

Lastly, I finally got sick and tired of hand drilling the Auto Sear holes. I've been planning on doing this but just never invested the time or money tbh. For less than 200 bucks I have a table top drillpress and now I know the Auto sear holes will be perfect every time.

2025 turned out to be another great year for Four Score. 321 transfers completed and somewhere in the neighborhood of 400+ fi****ms. A couple of gunbroker sales, and a few private party brokering transactions made it a stellar year. Thank you to all my customers who are truly the best customers on the planet. It is and continues to be an honor to serve you! 🫡

For any of you SCAR owners out there, i just read a review on the new Upgraded SCAR rifles. They now have a hydraulic buffered bolt carrier that is backwards compatible with the previous version SCAR (NRCH only i believe). What i want to know is if they have a Full-Auto version of that Bolt Carrier. Extended handguard now and includes a foregrip. What i don't like is that the handguard covers the gas block, but they have a window to be able to access it. I personally do not like shooting with a foregrip. They are also planning a 2nd quarter release of an option to be able to attach AR-15 Style stocks to the SCAR. Dont want that either. Glad I bought my 17S before they discontinued that version.

WTF was this idiot thinking??

Media Release
Armed Violence / Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Weapon / Burglary Arrest

On January 10, 2026 at approximately 2:17 AM, Lake Zurich police officers responded to an alarm activation at Casey’s Convenience Store at 650 South Rand Road. Officers learned an offender had gained access by discharging a firearm through a glass door and the business appeared to have been burglarized.

The investigation later determined the suspect was a resident of the 200 block of Whitney Road in Lake Zurich. At approximately 11:00 AM, officers attempted to contact the suspect at his home, but the suspect refused to exit. Due to the suspect being barricaded and the known presence of a firearm, the Northern Illinois Police Alarm System (NIPAS) Emergency Services Team was activated and responded to the scene.

After several hours of negotiation, the suspect surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident. The suspect was identified as Merrick A. Pollack, 47, of Lake Zurich.

The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office approved the following charges against Pollack:
* Armed Violence (Class X Felony)
* Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Weapon– 3 counts (all Class 4 Felonies)
* Burglary (Class 2 Felony)

Pollack was transported to a hospital for minor injuries and remains in custody of the Lake Zurich Police Department.

This matter remains under investigation by the Lake Zurich Police Department.

So here's an update on my previous post regarding the sparks at the muzzle.

I had a long interesting conversation with technical support at HUXWRX Safety Equipment yesterday.

The reason for the Sparks is twofold and they are not being caused by baffle strikes.

The baffle of the HUXWRX Ventum Suppressor is made of Titanium. Not only that, they are 3D printed baffles. The 3D printer uses tiny bits of titanium material to build the baffle. You should check out their website and watch the video of them being created.

So what happens is that these bits of titanium get fused one on top of the other vertically to construct the baffle. This means that the center bore that the bullet travels through is NOT an exact diameter hole like you would have if you milled a piece of metal with a bit.

Overall, the diameter of the hole in the baffle is carefully created to be sufficient for the bullet to pass through unimpeded. However, the intensity of the powder burn and heat generated cause sparks to be generated as the metal projectile passes the titanium in the baffle, literally just thousands of an inch separating the two of them.

Did you know this is exactly why titanium is used in fireworks because of this very property of bright sparks?

As requested by their tech guys, I pulled the baffle out and inspected it closely. Not marks could be seen anywhere to indicate an actual strike against the titanium by the bullets, which you can be sure would be apparent if there was a misalignment of the barrel and baffle.

Now also interesting to note, titanium is being used to create lighter weight Suppressors for the public. Military and Law Enforcement do NOT use Suppressors with titanium baffles. Because they spark.

So, a learning process and much relief that there is no alignment issue and the gun is safe to operate.

The gun operated flawlessly as I hoped and now I can start using it more frequently. Plus it is the ultimate home defense weapon 💪.

Luckily my shooting buddy made a video of the .300 Blackout SBMG. Watch the muzzle on the the first two rounds, and then everything after.

I am none too amused with the manufacturer right now. Ill be on the phone tomorrow and sending this back for an explanation. Never had a can showing baffle strikes. Complete disappointment.

Also, to the as****es at Facebook who have flagged this post for a violation of policy, you can go f**k yourselves. You dont even specify what the violation is! And I get an error when trying to view the so called rule i broke. F**k off Facebook

Well today was a mixed day at the range. Mostly good news, but one big disappointment.

So let's start with the new .300 Blackout Short Barrel Machine Gun. Hands down the best gun I've ever built. I outlined the parts list in a previous post. As you can see though, I did not zero the Eotech optic. Ill take care of that before the next outing. 120 rounds through it today. I just wanted to test out functionality. Ran flawlessly.
However when I got home, I discovered the soft case interior melted a bit where the Suppressor was touching. Bummer. I got a patch of welded crud on my new HUXWRX Ventum. Gotta figure out how I'm gonna get that s**t off.

Second major wow was the Re*****on 742. First time I ever shot .30-06 and frankly being a skinny 138 lbs i was really intimidated by this little beast. It only weighs 7.5 pounds. I have not fired a rifle standing up since I was 12 years old. The 3 head shots were about 70 feet. The scope on that guy is dead center. I was bummed cuz I only brought 11 rounds. This was a breaking test, because o stripped this gun down completely to every last bolt, nut and screw. Replaced a couple parts, and put her back together.

I dont know who came up with the nickname of Jam-o-Matic for the 742, but they obviously were clueless on how to Lubricate this rifle.

You use Lubriplate No. 130-A GREASE!!! DO NOT USE OIL.

In fact, I am no longer using oil on the AR and SCAR platforms either. Both guns operated super smooth, no Ejection issues, just perfect cycling.

Especially helpful on a Suppressed machine gun where the amount of gas and crud can build up quickly, using a thin layer of grease cuts way down on the attraction of debris and grime.

The disappointment came from my damn Korth .44 Magnum!!! When I pulled the hammer back there was huge resistance and I could not understand what the hell was up. Closer inspection revealed the cylinder was not rotating properly. It was actually hanging up on spots. I put 6 rounds through it to test the 160gr hollowpoints I made, and on the chronograph (1580fps average). Then another inspection of the cylinder i made the decision to put the gun away. Thats a 4.2k gun and a precision piece and I have no clue what's going on. I've been breaking in a new holster with this revolver and shoved the gun in and out a couple hundred times at least. Im thinking tiny bit of leather has gotten into a spot it should not be in?? Dont know, but I will talk to Nighthawk Custom on Monday and see what they think. Gun has lifetime warranty so we shall see. I may blast the Ejection shaft and Ejection areas with some carb cleaner and see if that helps. That stuff just vaporizes so maybe it will clear things out. When I cleaned it last there were remnants of CLP under the Ejection fingers, so maybe some made its way down inside the cylinder shaft, and got a little carbon gunk when firing. Nothing is bent so not sure on that.

I am absolutely in love with my Re*****on 742. With the 9 round magazine in it like you see there on the bed, it looks really intimidating. You do not wanna be on the business end of that barrel.

Overall my buddy Dean and I had a great afternoon. I wish I had a picture of the huge grin after he flipped the selector over to full auto and fired a couple of bursts. Priceless.

By the way, if you have not heard of Brass Goat brass catchers for the AR Platform, check them out. Best design ever and I can't understand why someone didn't come up with it sooner.

Till next time, have a wonderful 2026 everyone. Thanks for following the page. I am the luckiest guy because I have the most incredible customer base. Thank you to everyone for your support and teaching me in the process.

Final assembly and lubrication complete. Waiting on the Eotech Battle Sight and 3X Night Vision Compatible Magnifier combo, Atlas Bipod, and Laser/weapons light combo. Then she will be ready to Rock and Roll. This thing will do a 30 round magazine dump in about 3 seconds. If she were belt fed I believe she would be rated at around 700 rounds per minute or more.
