Happy July everyone!!! It's a big one for the country...and a BIG one for the Cedar Post, as we are celebrating 50 years in business and still going strong!! Be sure to check out our new special addition shirts for sale, as well as our original classic. As you all know from the multitude of weather alerts, we are in for a bit of a heat wave.As we keep track of the weather, every day in our books, I just wanted to share....2025...6/23-7/1 heat wave, temps in 100s and high 90s. 7/7&7/8....7/14-7/17....7/28-7/31. 2024...6/18-6/23...heat wave...7/8-7/11 and 7/14-7/17. My point being, the heat comes and goes, every year...so do what you can. Stay in, go out, drink water, don't over exert yourself (unless you want to)...What you can do is stop in for some refreshing delicious watermelon, summer fruit, local veggies, Nj corn, tomatoes and so much more. We still have beautiful flowers and several summer sales going on! We wish you all a Happy and Safe Holiday! We are open regular hours,,,every day from 9 to 6:30!!

Not sure what to get that special guy in your life....DON"T GET HIM A MUG!! All men love to eat...and we've got you covered!!! Sweet summer fruit is here in full force...cherries, nectarines, plums, melons, berries and more! NJ tomatoes are fantastic . Got a veggie lover...corn, squashes, peppers, cauliflower and the list goes on. And for the guy with the sweet tooth...freshly baked pies, cakes, breads, dessert cups...lots to choose from.
We still have a great selection of annuals and perennials for the gardener in your gang too! And if you still can't decide, just get him a gift card and let him do the shopping! But don't forget about the dads, uncles, grandpas out there.....We need and love them!! Happy Father's Day weekend...hope to see you, 9 to 6:30

We are still looking for someone to join our staff for Monday, Friday and Sunday tailgate markets! Needs to be a good, responsible driver, and ok to help with set up of tents, tables and merchandise. Please reach out if interested!

Help wanted for our tailgate markets. We are looking for a hard working, strong, reliable person to work at our tailgate markets. The job is Mondays and Fridays in Seaside and Sundays in Point Pleasant. You must be a good driver, as you will be driving a vehicle, pulling a small trailer with merchandise. If interested please contact me as soon as possible. Again...you must be able to work those three days, start at 7, be a good driver, and be strong to help set up tents, tables and merchandise. PLEASE don't reach out if you don't fit that profile! Thank you

Due to the rainy, chilly weather we will open at 10 today. We will stay open until at least 5/5:30, if it stops raining we will stay until our normal time of 6:30. We are fully stocked with everything you need for your holiday feasts! And..it's a great day for flower shopping if you don't mind walking through the raindrops!!
