What is this life that we get to experience color and color combinations like this?

Maybe that’s dramatic, but I genuinely believe it’s a gift from the Creator Himself.

I’ve always gotten a little emotional over color. Certain combinations don’t just catch my eye, they stop me in my tracks. They make me feel inspired. They make me want to create. They remind me that beauty matters.

I recently started reading about why some people experience beauty so differently. Researchers have found that while one person might look at a color palette and think, “Oh, that’s pretty,” someone else can have a much deeper emotional response to the exact same thing.
I think I’m the second person.

Every time I come across colors like these, I’m reminded that God didn’t have to make the world this beautiful. He could have made it functional. Instead, He filled it with beauty that stirs our hearts, sparks our imaginations, and points us back to Him.

I’d love to know...does anyone else feel this way about color, or is it just me?
