📢📢📢 For many years, the Peace River Center Thrift Shoppe has been a place where hope, dignity, and community support come together. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Thrift Shoppe has helped countless individuals and families access essential clothing and household items during times of need.
As we look to the future and explore ways to serve our clients more sustainably, we want to share an important update. The Thrift Shoppe will continue operating through December 30, 2025. After that date, Peace River Center will close the retail location and transition our voucher program to a new partnership with Lighthouse Ministries Thrift Store.
This shift will allow us to maintain and even enhance the support our clients receive:
Clients will continue to shop for needed items at several Lighthouse Ministries Thrift Store locations.
Donors will have access to additional store sites and convenient donation pick-up services not previously available through Peace River Center.
Future in-kind donations supporting Peace River Center clients can be made directly to Lighthouse Ministries. Donation details are available at: https://www.lighthousemin.org/donate-goods
