🏗️ Friday Update from The Lake District!

Exciting progress continues across The Lake District!

The townhome community is growing quickly, with existing and newly completed townhomes now being painted to create a consistent look throughout the neighborhood. Construction is also underway on eight additional townhomes, and major site work has begun across the street to prepare for even more new townhomes.

On the commercial side, new signage has been installed for the Shelby County Sheriff's Office and Lakeland Parks & Recreation. As the City of Lakeland continues to grow, additional office space was needed for city staff, making The Lake District a natural fit. The City has also partnered with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office to establish the new headquarters for Shelby County's School Resource Officer program here at The Lake District. This facility will serve as the central headquarters for all school resource officers throughout Shelby County.
