Pfaff Passport 3.0. So this customer tried to clean the machine at home and jammed a long screw into the wrong hole and sliced a wire on the thread cutting motor. And. on this particular machine those wires are soldered to the motor so you have to replace the whole mechanism. Thread cutter assembly complete.

Pfaff Passport 3.0. One screw is smaller than the other screws but you don’t pay attention to that because you only watched a YouTube video on cleaning the thread out from the bobbin area on a completely different machine. Now your tuneup and cleaning went from a simple basic service to a major repair.

You don’t need a degree to service sewing machines but just like most jobs you need someone to show you how to do it the right way first.
