One year. ❤️

A few of our favorite moments from last night as we celebrated Notta Gallery’s first anniversary.

Thank you to every artist, collector, student, friend, collaborator, neighbor, and person who has walked through our doors over the last year. More than anything, thank you for the connection — for showing up, making things, sharing ideas, taking chances, and helping us build something that feels bigger than a gallery.

We’re incredibly proud of what this first year became.

But we’re just getting started.

Here’s to year two.

Let’s get to work making this art community something to behold.

Meet Notta Artist Nathan Leemis. 🎨🌴

Nathan is a plein air and abstract painter whose work explores the changing character of Florida—its wild landscapes, old neighborhoods, palms, waterways, light, and atmosphere.

Art runs deep in Nathan’s family. He comes from five generations of artists, receiving his earliest instruction from his grandmother, Barbara Bassett, founder of Art Workshop in Winter Park. He later studied art at UCF before shifting his focus to conservation biology, an influence that still shows up in the way he observes and paints Florida’s natural environment.

Working both observationally and more expressively, Nathan moves between recognizable Florida scenes and looser, more abstract explorations of color, movement, and light. He continues to exhibit throughout the state and was named a 2026 Halo Arts Project Fellowship Award recipient.

We’re proud to have Nathan as part of the Notta family.

Tonight, art meets purpose. ❤️

Tony Agnello is live painting at Academy Prep this evening, creating a one-of-a-kind piece honoring Malachi Williams, Academy Prep Class of 2023. The finished work will be auctioned tonight, with proceeds supporting Academy Prep’s Student Scholarship Fund and its continued mission to educate, empower, and create opportunities for young people in our community.

We’re incredibly proud to be part of an evening where creativity can become opportunity—and where a painting can help write someone’s next chapter. 🎨
