Thornback Creations is rebranding! I wanted to make a change to something that felt a little more me and that I'd love enough to keep long-term. The new name is similar to Thornback, but ties in more to my own family history via my grandmother/mother's farm Flowerwood Farm and I think it also evokes some fun, whimsical, cottagecore/fantasy vibes, which I love ❤️ So I hope you're as excited as I am to say hello to Thornwood Fiber Arts!

I've never been one to post all that much about politics, though my family can attest to the fact that I've certainly had opinions. I feel right now isn't the time to be silent however.

ICE has existed since 2003 and operated under several presidents without issues like we are seeing now in Minneapolis. I believe the recent actions being undertaken by ICE and this administration, including the irresponsible approach to recruitment and training which have contributed to the deaths of two American citizens this month, the lack of transparency on the investigations, and the blatant falsehoods being presented, are dangerous. This is not what this agency was created to do and ICE needs to cease their current operations in Minneapolis, per the desires of the state and local government and the people residing there.
