We just installed a new payment system at our Bristol Ave location. No more quarters, or swiping cards, or lost connection, or transaction holds.
Laundroworks has a reusable card that accepts all credit or debit cards. It accepts EBT, and cash.
Register your card and receive texts when your laundry is finished.
We will add the same system to our other locations soon and they will be linked so you can use your card at all 3 locations.

A few quick tricks, incase you didn't know. When using the card readers on the dryers, press the little green "ENTER" button FIRST. This tells the system how much you want to charge, THEN swipe your card. This will add all the minutes at once instead of swiping for each minute, (which takes forever). The same goes for the washers. If you select "EXTRA" wash or rinse, that will change the price, then press the green enter button until the price on the card reader matches the price displayed on the washer. It will add all the money at once. Hope this helps answer some questions. Happy washing!

I get lots of questions about the card system we use. Most people who use debit cards should already be familiar with "holds". Our system is no different. The $5.00 you see is a temporary hold. It should come off around midnight when the system dumps or batches all sales for the day. Then it will reflect the actual amount you spent. Depending on your bank and the type of card you are using, the hold may be longer. This is a policy of your card provider, not us.

Spring is here. Time to start sprucing up your place. You've been locked up for a year, yuck! Time to get fresh......
Keep in mind we have washers that will wash 2 to 8 loads at one time. Our 80 pound washers are available at several of our locations, they are perfect for handling the big stuff. We accept credit/debit cards now too, you don't need to scrounge around for quarters.

Seems like we're not quite out of the woods yet. I still recommend the load and go format and folding your laundry at home. ALSO, MASKS are required when in the laundry.
Many NON laundry customers have discovered a coin shortage. We have been struggling to keep the change machine full so our ACTUAL customers can do laundry. Please don't take our quarters to go somewhere else. For the rest of you, I installed card readers on the machines to make it easier. Swiping is way easier, quicker, and no jams.

Governor is asking ALL to wear masks when in public places. We ask you to follow along with the protocol. We are sanitizing all surfaces daily. BUT, you should exercise caution at all times, bring hand sanitizer/wipes or your own Lysol type product. Keep your distance (6ft) , do not shake out your laundry in the store, wait in your car between cycles and fold your laundry at home.
