It's always bittersweet when our girls from the bookstore go on to their next adventure, and Cara leaving for school this month is no exception. Definitely some big shoes to fill because all of our girls have been incredible!
That said, we are looking for 2-3 part time people for Hester's! Come grab an application and set up an interview! We know readers tend to be more introverted, so be prepared to greet customers, practice great customer service, and talk about books a lot! We are looking forward to meeting you!

Just a reminder that there will be no Silent Book Club tonight. See y’all on September 4th or at one of our other book clubs!

The best part of any bookstore is the bookstore cat, and Rue is no exception 🤍

📚 Weekly Events at Hester’s! 📚

Thursday is our Audiobook group, Crafts & Chapters. Join us for the BEST audiobook ever! We’ll start at 7pm

August’s Silent Book Club is canceled. If you’ve been in the store recently you know our AC’s are STRUGGLING. With SBC being a bigger group it’s not comfortable yet. We’ll be back in September! And hopefully have AC’s ready to go before then too.

Tonight is our first night of Dungeon Crawler Carl in Crafts & Chapters!

First: we listen to an audiobook while working on a craft or activity. Sounds cheesy, but who doesn’t want an hour to sit and finish a project?

Second: this book is the best audiobook you will ever listen to! End of the world, alien invasion, talking cat, incredible narrator. Grab your spot and join us!

Starts at 7pm at Hester’s Books, 516 E 4th St
