Appreciated Laura sharing her beautiful work of art, her quilted collage of her late beloved dog. Amazing work!

She shared some tips at the retreat as well as resources she used.
To create a color by number picture from a picture, she used the website plenify. To convert a photo to black and white gradient, she used the app Vector. Finally, she shared that the website rasterbator helped her enlarge a photo to poster size, which she could print on out by using multiple pages.

Our first retreat is in the books! The setting was the beautiful Alley Park, that has been tended by our ancestors for years! Added to that was great company, amazing projects, and informative presentations.
Thank you to all who participated and shared their joy of quilting, stitching, and community. We had much fun that we want to do it again! Stay tuned.
