Jane Austen Tea - Saturday, October 10 at 2 PM – Attend in attire from Jane Austen’s time or the 21st century. Enjoy your tea and refreshments while historian Cynthia Resor, dressed in early 1800s attire, gives a talk about food and drink in the time of famous author Jane Austen.
Halloween Mystery Tea - Thursday, October 29 at 1 PM. Dress in your best costume if you wish (costume not required) and solve a Halloween-themed mystery while enjoying tea and refreshments.

We have Elmwood Inn teas and "Mrs. Jane Wherritt's Indulgence" tea named after an original owner of the historic Wherritt House! Visit us, sample the tea, and shop for unique hand-crafted items. Wherritt Gifts is open Tuesday - Friday: 10 am - 5 pm, Saturday: 10 am - 2 pm.

Create a work of art representing your history for our upcoming contest theme - Remembering the Past. Where have you lived, who has influenced you, what makes you the person you are? Open to all ages and types of art including painting, photography, sculpture, or fiber art.
