This ride will blow your mind! Paul Francis — formerly of Zildjian cymbals, creator of amazing cymbals like the K Constantinople line — crafted this one of a kind ride cymbal starting from an overly heavy Avedis Zildjian from the 1980s. He shaped the profile, lathed, hammered, lathed more, and hammered again and again until he arrived at this complex funky piece of musical amazingness! At 2795 grams, this is a great medium weight for maximum balance between stick and wash, and the added patina dries out the decay to a perfect taper. 2024 production, no cracks, dents, or problems of any kind. Sabian HHX Complex 23” medium ride

These HHX Complex cymbals are my favorite in the Sabian line, and by far the best value in a pleasantly complex, lower-pitch Turkish style cymbal. Sabian must have discovered some secret sauce made of pro drummer tears in a back warehouse, and they pour it all over this line of cymbals!

The 23” medium from this series is a super versatile all-around ride, with a sweet low pitch, a strong bell, beautiful stick definition and lush wash. Watch the video in the comments and see how it responds effortlessly to the touch of a drumstick! This one is 2994 grams, which is the perfect weight to size ratio — again, the proof is in the sound! No dents, no cracks, no problems, just stick marks and a couple of superficial storage marks.
