LONG POST***
I turned 40 this year -and life - well let’s say …. it taught me a few things. It takes a lot of courage to acknowledge when you’re in a season of healing. Sometimes the weight of everything can feel overwhelming, but there is a quiet, steady strength in simply choosing to move forward, one small step at a time.
If you are feeling drained today, step into the light that Jesus offers you today. The sun shines bright, the birds sing their praises, and suddenly you realize that your problems are just too small compared to this big bright world around you.
Small Moments of Healing
* **Step into the Light:** Find a patch of sunlight and just stand there for a moment. Feel the warmth settle on your face; let it remind you that there is still grace available to you, even on the heavy days.
* **Listen to the birds sing and air flow:** There is something incredibly grounding about the sound of birds singing. It’s a reminder that life is continuing to move and grow, and that you are a vital part of that movement. If God feeds the birds, he can also provide for all your needs.
* **Change Your Scenery:** Whether it’s a walk through a park, a bike ride down a quiet trail, or just sitting on a porch, being outside helps shift your perspective. Fresh air has a way of clearing the mental fog and making the path ahead feel just a little bit wider.
Healing isn’t a race, and it definitely isn’t linear. Some days will feel like a victory, and others will feel like you’re just holding on—both are okay. Trust that as you keep seeking God and hearing his voice speak life into your being, your cold days will start to feel a little warmer and the weight gets a little lighter.
Keep going. Keep reading His word, stay encouraged (Zechariah 4:6-7) and seeking Him. Don’t doubt for a moment that he’s for you and not against you. You’re doing better than you think. @
