Tom's Knotty Egg Tom's Knotty egg is an amazing fly designed to catch Steelhead, Brown Trout, Salmon and Trout wherev I was introduced to fly fishing by my father in the 60's!

It's funny but I could tie flies before I could read. I fished all the wonderful trout streams of PA my whole life. We also fished the tributaries of Lake Erie and Ontario. The Steelhead, Browns and Salmon we encountered were amazing and challenging. Tom's Knotty Egg was a pattern I created to catch egg and spawn eating Steelhead, Trout and Salmon in every situation from aggressive to the most sel

ective and finicky fish. It's application is proven from stocked trout in your favorite stream to any stream where Salmon, Steelhead and Brown Trout are present. This is a fly that makes other fishermen say "What's that guy using?'
