After numerous conversations I’m excited to announce this SJM series at The Annex 🤩

Alongside LADDERS, (which will continue at the Whitefield Public Library on the third Wednesdays as our core romance book club) I am adding a separate Sarah J. Maas series that will run from through fall at The Annex.

We’ll kick things off on 4/15 at the April Romance Book Club: LADDERS at the WPL double feature with A Court of Thorns and Roses 6:00 and A Court of Mist and Fury 6:45, then continue the rest of the series at The Annex as we move deeper into the ACOTAR world and into Crescent City.

LADDERS isn’t going anywhere. 🫶🏼 It’s still our home base and something I care deeply about with my whole heart and soul. This is simply an additional space for those who want to dive into fantasy (specifically SJM up to the ACOTAR release in October) together.

You’re welcome to follow along the whole way or join for the books that interest you most. 🧚🏻‍♀️

I connected with Marilynn, the host of the 2026 New England Book Ball & Author Expo happening right in Whitefield, NH, and it is going to be AMAZING 😍📚

We’re talking:
📖 55+ authors
✍️ book signings
🎤 panels, readings & fun events
🎉 plus a full-on Book Ball Saturday evening experience (with tickets still available!)

📍 Mountain View Grand Resort
📅 April 25–26 (Expo on Sunday, April 26 | 11AM–3PM)

Saturday is the full ticketed experience with vendors, panels, and the Book Ball dinner, but Sunday is our day 👀

Okay but tell me this doesn’t scream BOOK CLUB FIELD TRIP?!

I’m thinking we make a day of it, wander the expo, meet authors, maybe grab lunch, and just fully lean into our bookish era together 💫

The last rotary snow derby meeting is tonight at 6:15 at the annex 🙂

Rotarian Support Needed: February 13 & March 1

Quick update in case you missed it: the club has added a Friday Night Snow Derby on February 13, in addition to the previously scheduled Sunday, March 1 race.

With the addition of this second race, we are reaching out again to ask for rotarian support. These events are a major fundraiser for our club, and having Rotarians help with admissions and ticket sales makes a big difference in keeping things running smoothly.

We are looking to fill short, manageable volunteer shifts for both race dates:

Friday Night Snow Derby
📅 Friday, February 13, 2026
• 4:00–5:30 PM
• 5:30–7:00 PM
• 7:00–8:30 PM
races will end around 10

Sunday Snow Derby
📅 Sunday, March 1, 2026
• 7:00–9:00 AM
• 9:00–11:00 AM
• 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
races will end around 2

We are hoping for 2–3 volunteers per shift. The roles are easy, straightforward, and honestly pretty fun, and volunteers are welcome to stay and enjoy the races.

Led by Ashley (Earth2Sunshine), a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher currently working toward her 500hr certification, you’ll move through a soothing flow designed to boost flexibility, balance, and inner calm.

• Safe, supported, and prenatal-friendly
• Set to a themed playlist in a softly lit space
• Limited in size, so you get the personal attention you deserve

Bonus: As we move into spring, weather permitting, we may take this class outside by the river!

🎨 we’ve missed hosting craft nights!!!!

Tonight was so fun! It was a blast to get back into facilitating craft nights, and for a good cause! This was a fundraiser for the Northern Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce and we donated all proceeds back to them ☺️ next one we’ll be back at The Annex !! 💗 🎨

Just a heads up that our Mustang Raffle Committee and Park Committee meetings have been rescheduled to the morning of February 12 (originally 5 and 530).
