Lighthouse Thrift Shop

Lighthouse Thrift Shop The Lighthouse Thrift Store was created by the people in Corrottoman Baptist Church. They wanted to create an outreach to the community to help others.

In December 2009, The Corrottoman Baptist Church found itself with an old home on the grounds. In discussing what to do with this building, it was recommended by several people in the church to turn it into a thrift shop for the community. The building after having considerable restoration and a face lift, became the Lighthouse Thrift Shop. This made available a variety of clothes and merchandise

to the community and surrounding areas.Today,now in its 5th year, there are 2 buildings and 1 receiving building to process donations. The volunteers who work are excited and welcoming to all who come by! This shop is also involved in reaching out to help where there is a need. Donations of clothing have been sent to several countries in our world as well as in our own Virginia. Everyone works together to make this possible. We are open Thursday through Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., donations are accepted daily.

We turn our clocks up one hour this weekend and so hopefully Spring is almost here! We have put out our Spring clothes, shoes, and purses. Come by and shop!!
