🍂 I don't completely redecorate my home every time the seasons change—mostly because I have absolutely no place to store all that out-of-season decor.
Instead, I look for little things that help set the mood.
I turn on lamps instead of overhead lights. Bring in a bundle of lavender to dry and display inside. Pull my favorite blankets back out. Start making some of the meals I haven't thought about since last fall. And, of course, change the fragrances I'm using around the house.
None of it is a big transformation. But those little changes are usually enough to make home feel like the season we're in.
I gathered seven of my favorite simple ideas into my newest blog post: How to Make Your Home Feel Cozy for Fall.
Most of them don't require buying anything new. Because a cozy home isn't really about decorating for fall. It's about enjoying the home you already have in the season you're in.
