Co-op Shoppes on State Street

Co-op Shoppes on State Street Small town, big boutique, locally owned and operated by Norma Mulzon. 2 buildings filled with artisian booths. Antiques. Vintage collectibles.

When collector and artisan, Norma Mulzon and her husband found that the former Grain Co-op in La Porte Indiana was for sale, she knew it was the perfect venue to start a business doing what she loves. Most any day you will see her in Building one, greeting her guests personally or helping serve delicious food to the diners in the shop at Topp Skillet. There is something for everyone at Co-op. Quality handmade artisan gifts, toys, clothing, collectibles, vintage items and antiques. Why Co-op Shoppes also has a darling hair salon. Kathy's Cuts is owned and operated by Norma's daughter in-law. Topp Skillet is owned and operated by her longtime pal Isabel Topp. Here's more of what you will find: Vintage linens, make-up, Tom's shoes, handbags, wall art, metal decor, primitives, hand and body products, furniture, handmade dolls, and a candy store! Our most prized attribute is CUSTOMER APPRECIATION!!! We know your money is hard-earned and we thank you for shopping local.
