“I created this company after seeing health issues plague our communities of color, more specifically African American communities, in younger and younger generations. Busy schedules, whether work or family related, making it feel impossible to fit in time to work out or eat better. Equally important is the role physical activity has on your mental wellness. Mental Health is finally receiving acknowledgement on a larger platform and people are becoming more comfortable discussing their concerns and feeling OK with expressing their true feelings as a mechanism for self empowerment.

I chose to become ACTIVE in motivating and providing different forms of Black Girl Inspiration and being a ray of light whether it be discussing ways to fall in love with healthier food choices, promoting a new woman of color owned endeavor or simply reminding yourself to TAKE CARE OF YOU!”
