On Friday, July 24th, we had the privilege of attending the 36th Annual ADA Celebration! To commemorate this monumental event, the City of Tampa hosted a variety of artists, dancers, and singers with disabilities. In addition to the wonderful performances, a number of awards were given, recognizing key individuals and organizations that support and uplift our local disability community. ♿♾️ Next year, we hope to see you there!

BIG WIN for mobility access!

The U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 1703 – the Choices for Increased Mobility Act by voice vote and sent it to the Senate.

This bill expands access to carbon fiber and titanium manual wheelchairs for Medicare beneficiaries — and does it budget-neutral.

Years of relentless advocacy by the DMEPOS community, patient organizations, manufacturers, suppliers, and congressional champions just paid off.

NCART thanks every single person who helped push this across the finish line. Now we take the fight to the Senate.

The Ability Games is an adaptive fitness competition hosted by Stay In Step Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Center, bringing together individuals with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, and other neurological conditions to compete alongside able-bodied athletes in an unforgettable day of teamwork, determination, and community.

We have a few spots left in our FREE OSHA 10 training starting on 7/13!

DIVE-VRT is hosting an OSHA 10 training course this summer for adults with disabilities.

July 13th-17th
9am to 1pm
Temple Terrace, Florida

OSHA 10 is a foundational safety training course designed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Participants will learn using virtual reality technology and computer based curriculum.

Earn your certification this summer to prepare for roles in construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, healthcare, and facilities.
