Hello, wine lovers. The Wine Shop of Largo is having a wine tasting THIS FRIDAY, Feb. 23 from 6 to 8 PM. We have 4 distributor reps pouring a variety of wines, everything from red to rose' to white, and from Champagne to Chardonnay to Cabernet. The cost is only $10 per person. Hello Everyone,
We will be tasting about 15 wines from Italy Friday night
starting at 6. This is perfect timing as we just attended
an Italian tasting of about a hundred wines last week and
a number of new wines will be coming in for the tasting.
There will be a selection of cheeses and baked sausages
to go along with the wines. Tasting is $15 and RSVP required.
This is a great opportunity to taste some great wines from
all over the country and some really great values.

Hello Everyone,
We will be having a series of tastings, 3 in all,
starting next Friday, April 21st at 6PM. The first
one will be Wines from France, the second will
be Wines of Spain on May 5th, and the third will
be the Wines of Italy, on May 19th. Each tasting
will be $15 per person, but if you sign up for 2 of
the tastings, it will be $12/pp - sign up for all three
and the cost is $10pp -total is payable at the first
tasting you attend - cash or check preferred please
Each will be a walk around tasting - 15 wines poured
by 2-3 distributors - inside and outside. We will also be
open for wine and appetizers outside so you can reserve
tables if you would like to stay after the tasting.
This is a great opportunity for those who don't usually
go into our seemingly dreaded imported wine room! You
will have the chance to taste 45 of our most popular
imports in the next three tastings. By the end of tastings
I think you'll be very comfortable with these European wines.

Will be serving a selection of cheeses to accompany the wines. Wines will include Raymond Reserve, Mt Veeder, Ehlers, Stonestreet, Louis Martini Napa and Alexander Valley (97 Parker). Buena Vista Napa, Franciscan and a few others.
This tasting would usually be $30-35, but we received
a few samples to bring it down to $15/per person. Tasting
is limited so please RSVP by Thursday. Starts at 6PM.

of this winery, Don Harford and tasting 6 of his wines. Don
has been involved in the wine business for many years and
is actually the son in law of Jess Jackson, of Kendall Jackson fame. This is one of my favorite wineries and I never miss going there when I'm in Sonoma. WINE TASTING
Just a reminder that our 17th Anniversary Tasting at
the Largo store is Nov 12th, from 4-6:30. This is
our biggest tasting of the year - 70-80 wines,
appetizers from us and a guest chef or two, and
about 10 distributors pouring wine for you as you
walk around inside and outside on the deck. Cost
is $25 per person and includes a Riedel glass to take
home. RSVP required soon as we are over half full already.
