Decided to change direction on my first build due to back issues and upgradeability by changing my donor vehicle from a VW beetle chassis to a 1986 Pontiac Fiero 2m6 4spd donor chassis. I'm really happy with this decision thus far and have lots of cool features I'll be adding along the way.

Couldn't resist slapping those 10" & 12" wide Champ 500 Wheels and tires on the donor bug before the body is removed. Gotta admit it does look better than I thought it would. I'd say it's a "Tough Love Bug" 😁

Having never actually built a kit car before, let alone a Holden Penko Coyote X modeled after the famous Coyote X from the TV series HardCastle and McCormick, I still find it hard to believe that gorgeous body sits comfortably on a VW chassis.

I even had to measure the wheel base myself to be sure... And it is correct.

Can't wait to build this!!
