We are hiring for part time help to work estate and liquidation sales.

Are you a shopper type who knows the value of things? Are you curious about items you may have never seen before?

We are an estate and liquidation company here in Las Cruces. You will be required to assist in moving, staging, pricing and selling items at estate sales. You must be able to lift 25 pounds. You must be able to work on Fridays and Saturdays and perhaps the occasional Sundays for sales. Staging is done Monday-Thursday. We usually start around 8:30 and end our day by 3 or so, but you may not work a full 8 hour day. Sale days are generally 5-6 hours and start between 7 and 8. Estimated 20-24 hours per week depending upon our load. You may be called upon to come in at the last moment, so some flexibility is required. This work will be primarily in the Las Cruces area.

If you are willing to work as a cashier on sale days, please let us know. We would require prior experience and some references for this position. Must be able to work with a computerized touch screen point of sale system with minimum assistance.

Previous experience in this type of sales will be helpful. We deal with other people's prized possessions in their homes every day. Our clients expect us to act professionally when working with them. You must be friendly, honest, trustworthy, have basic math skills, be able to work with computers and consent to a background check. These checks are required for us to maintain our financial surety bonds.

Every day is an adventure as we never know what we may find. A curiosity about things you don't recognize and an ability to look them up and assign a value is part of what we do. But we do not have time to dawdle. You must detail oriented and efficient.

OK. Time for the absolute final blowout of this estate. We still have a lot of stuff left. Small kitchen appliances and misc. Board games, nice mid-century art glass, artwork, lots of brand new ladies' petite clothing sized M-XL and shoes, many new. We also have personal care items, holiday items, knick-knacks, bookshelves, some small furniture. All this will be at 75% of the original price and no we will not be raising prices first. We have a fully electric twin bed with mattress that looks almost. Fixed price on that is $700 (over $2400 new) and a Frigedaire Commercial upright freezer (about 20cf). Works great. Well folks, we are having a sale this weekend and it will be big. We are combining two owner's stuff for an amazing selection. One of the owners might be called a compulsive buyer as there were many items new in the box or with tags attached.
