Behind the scenes of how I made this deep red to white gradient ombre flower wall installation design using faux flowers with magnets attached.

Behind the scenes of my floral design process for arranging this dusty blue and light pink modern bridal bouquet with touches of bright orange accent stems.

All the stems used in this bridal bouquet are artificial flowers.

I save all of my trimmed faux floral stems to repurpose them as stem extensions for smaller flowers. Using some hot glue and floral tape, I’m able to add length to shorter stems to make them easier to design with.

This is how I pack my faux floral bridal bouquets for shipping.

When price shopping for pre-made artificial flower decor, remember that packaging is important for maintaining the quality of the design.

For finished designs, shipping boxes should be an appropriate size for the bouquet or arrangement to ensure the blooms are protected from damage.

This is how I make modern and colorful bouquets like this using artificial flowers.

This is how I stay organized as a small business owner.

I’m a florist who works exclusively with artificial flowers, so after an event, this is what my process looks like to put everything back into my storage units so my inventory is organized and ready for the next event.

Storage unit organizing is important to keep my operation running smoothly and my overhead costs low. I do this after every event to ensure my storage units remain clean, tidy, and efficient.

Using artificial flowers at events means they might encounter the occasional drink spill or getting stepped on.

If you notice your silk stems have a stain on them, they probably just need a quick rinse in some soapy water. Let me show you how easy it is to clean faux flower stems, even with tough stains like colored food dyes.

All you need is a bowl of warm water with a drop of dish soap. After just a few dips in the water, this red stain lifted from these white faux flowers with no issue.

Another Tip: If I need to clean a flower on site at an event, I like to use a makeup wipe for quick stain and dirt removals.

This is how I store and transport my faux floral arrangements.

As a florist who works exclusively with artificial flowers, keeping my rental decor items organized in plastic storage containers ensures they remain in good condition, are easy to transport, and can be stored efficiently in my storage unit to maximize space.

Since artificial flower stems are wired, the cut stems can be sharp.

To fix this, I add a dot of hot glue to the end of each stem to cover any exposed wire.

This ensures the ends are sealed and they won’t snag on clothing or scratch anything.
