Katie’s “Lafayette” gown by Galia Lahav was made for candlelight. Shimmering embroidered lace and delicate beading traced every curve of this sheer high neck wedding dress, its sleeves and train catching the glow of hundreds of flickering pillar candles lining the aisle.

Set inside the crumbling stone arches of a historic hacienda reopened exclusively for her elopement, the scene was pure romantic goth glam: deep red roses, amaranth, and garnet blooms tumbling against white orchids, sheer drapery swept overhead like a canopy, and vintage pearl jewelry finishing the look.
