We are next to the Burlington Coat Factory on Eastern Ave., and right across the street from the Savers. Look for the pink 'Used Books' sign. We are very close to stops for the Tropicana and Eastern bus lines. We’re also less than 2 miles from UNLV and from the airport, and less than 4 miles from the strip for out of town visitors. When are you open? We’re open from 10am to 8pm everyday except maj

or holidays. Do you buy books? We do, with some caveats - Las Vegas Books will buy gently used books for cash or trade credit. We cannot accept books that are moldy, water-damaged, stained, insect or rodent damaged, or have any lingering odor. With very few exceptions we also will not take ex-library books, or anything missing components, including things like dust jackets, stickers, or companion CDs. What we can buy and how much we can pay depends on what we currently have in stock, the condition of the book, and the price we think we can sell it for. Because of this we are unable to give any price estimates without handling the books in-store. Do I need to make an appointment to sell books? Not usually. Walk-ins are accepted daily until 6pm on a first-come first-serve basis. However, if you represent an estate, a Friends of the Library organization, a closed business, or have more books than can reasonably fit in a passenger vehicle, please speak to a buyer, as an appointment may be necessary. Do you carry new books? We do. We proudly work with local authors to sell and promote their works. We will also often have gently-used copies of the newest best sellers. Is your store wheelchair accessible? It is, we have very wide aisles, and a staff ready to help with anything you might need. Is your store pet-friendly? We are happy to have any well-behaved animals give us a visit. Messes will, of course, be the responsibility of the owners. Can you host events? Yes, please ask to speak to our events coordinator. We are happy to work with local authors, book clubs, and writers groups.
