Q: What is the college Red Zone?

A: It’s a 6-to-10-week time frame when many students are going to parties, gatherings, and other social events to celebrate their return to campus.

New students are especially vulnerable during this time period, due to their unfamiliarity with the campus and the resources available to them if they have been assaulted.

It is important to equip, educate and empower students as they are heading back to campus this month!

"I went to the store late last night...alone - something I hate doing. When I got out of my car, I noticed a car pull up right behind me with 3 men in it- not thinking much of it I grabbed my purse, locked my car and headed into the store. As I was exiting the store, I noticed those 3 men from the car standing around my vehicle, looking in the windows. IMMEDIATELY I knew something was not right. I asked for an es**rt to my car & grabbed my pepper spray. The store manager asked the men to leave the parking lot and gestured for me to get into my car. I got in immediately & locked all of the doors. As the manager & I watched the men pull away, they all looked at me laughing and pointing. At this point I didn't care I just wanted to be home safe. As I started driving home, I kept checking my surroundings & looking in my mirrors to make sure they didn't follow me. Thankfully they did not. I am so thankful for a company like yours that serves to equip women with products to protect themselves. I'm glad I was prepared."⠀
