We didn’t just bring back the Midnight Low C Bass Clarinet; we reimagined it.
Introducing the Midnight Rose. Featuring our iconic black nickel-plated body "bookmarked" by a stunning, polished Rose Brass bell and neck. This creates a mesmerizing "eclipse" effect that looks as incredible as it sounds.
The necks on our bass clarinets were upgraded to rose brass necks in 2023 but this is the first time that the bell is being upgraded to the rose brass. This new bell will be exclusive to the Midnight Rose model.

Low C Bass Clarinet News!

We have decided to NOT do a price increase on the most recent batch of Kessler Custom 2nd Gen Low C Bass Clarinets as a response to increased tariffs.

Our $2,799.99 price was based on a tariff rate that was 10% less then we are incurring now. However, we have decided to absorb this cost in order to keep this amazing instrument as affordable as possible.

So while all of the other competitive models have instituted significant price increases, we are going to hold firm and affordable as long as we can!

The new Kessler Custom by Theo Wanne Alto Sax Mouthpiece is now available for pre-order.

This is not a “Meyer Copy”. That’s been done many times over… even Meyer is doing a great job with it on their own “New York” alto sax models in production.

Instead, this is a facing, baffle and chamber that are designed to bring in the performance principles from the original vintage New York Meyer Bros, adapted to modern manufacturing and market concepts (like synthetic reeds – don’t worry, it works great with cane too).

This is similar to the “NY Bros” model that Theo offers as well, but still a bit different.

The end result is an affordable performance jazz mouthpiece with great tonal body and warmth that is combined with a free-blowing, easy response.

Available in 2 facing options:
NY5: .071″
NY7: .081"

The 5 will actually play more open/free than people anticipate. So if you prefer a 6-7 but WANT a more focused tone, then the 5 with a slightly harder reed and the heavier Versa-X ligature will give you an amazing combination of power, presence, response and balance.

New Product Announcement!

We've been REALLY excited developing this and now it is time to let the world know! The new Kessler Custom by Theo Wanne line of mouthpieces for soprano saxophone.

We sell a LOT of sopranos and over time have found that so many players make so many mistakes in how they approach soprano sax. For years, we have helped customers find the right mouthpiece for their needs and over the past few years, several great classical models were made (Selmer Concept, Vandoren Profile, Yany New Classical) to help to make playing soprano easier, but not as much for jazz soprano.

So the launch of the new Kessler Custom by Theo Wanne Jazz Soprano Mouthpiece is here to fill that gap!

Photographed here are the first full production level mouthpieces and the large batch will be arriving late April.
