We hit 107 here today. Moved some sand for the chickens. I'll refresh their coops tonight once they roost. The cat's claw and shade from the pine trees keep their run under 100, but sand lowers the temperature an additional 5-8 degrees. Chickens naturally run hot, around 107 degrees, so anything I can do to make them comfortable, I'll do.πŸ’š
